A monitor of computer is an output device and is used to displays information in pictorial form. A monitor usually comprises of the display device, circuitry, casing, and power supply which help it to function well. An LED Monitor (short for Light Emitting Diode) or LED display is an LCD Monitor uses light emitting diodes for back lighting. The main function of a monitor is to display video and graphical information which are generated by the computers graphics adapter, thus allowing the user to interact with the computer easily. It is categorized as output device. Monitors have display functions that involve powering it on and off, controlling brightness, contrast and position.
